Meet Alexandra,
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & senior public health consultant
Alexandra (Allie) Piatkowski is a multi-disciplinary health leader. She is experienced in project management, health systems improvement, public health and epidemiology, and knowledge translation and evaluation. An Epidemiologist by training, she has always had a keen interest in improving population health and has diverse experience across the health system at federal, provincial, and local levels. She values meaningful engagement with diverse stakeholders to ensure that all voices are represented and to foster better integration across sectors. Using data and evidence to inform decision-making is also central to her work. Allie envisions a more equitable, healthier society for all. She holds a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies (Co-operative Program) from the University of Waterloo.
Allie enjoys exploring new places and neighborhoods, long walks, being an avid hockey fan, trying new foods, arts and crafts and DIYs, cuddling with cats, spending time with family and friends, staying active and spending time outdoors, traveling anywhere and everywhere, and playing lots of games to fuel her competitive side. Allie strives to keep learning every day.
