Meet Shonali,
PUBLIC HEALTH CONSULTANT
Shonali is a graduate of Mercer University, holding a Master of Public Health degree, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Georgia. Her journey into healthcare and public health began with a deep-seated passion nurtured by her mother's work in healthcare. This early exposure instilled in her a desire to contribute to the healthcare industry, which she pursued through her undergraduate studies. Her perspective broadened as she became involved in various leadership roles, particularly amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was during this time that she discovered the profound impact of public health initiatives, realizing that she could make a difference beyond traditional healthcare professions. Her experiences at various healthcare institutions further solidified her commitment to public health. Through these endeavors, Shonali recognized the vital role of education and policy in preventing health issues and promoting community well-being. With a newfound understanding of the importance of public health, Shonali is dedicated to addressing the often-overlooked aspects of healthcare. She believes that public health is essential for both the prevention and treatment of illnesses, integrating medical and social perspectives to create healthier communities. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys exploring the scenic trails of North Georgia and spending quality time with friends and family.
